Dansen skapades till ett&nbsp;<em>Nationaldivertiessement<\/em>&nbsp;med anledning av&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sv.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Karl_XIV_Johan\">Karl XIV Johans<\/a>&nbsp;jubileum d\u00e5 han suttit 25 \u00e5r p\u00e5 Sveriges tron (1843).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Musiken till de olika turerna \u00e4r tv\u00e5 v\u00e4stg\u00f6tska polskor ur f\u00f6rsta h\u00e4ftet av&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sv.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Traditioner_af_Swenska_Folk-Dansar\">Traditioner af Swenska Folk-Dansar<\/a>, nummer 19 och 15, som arrangerats ihop f\u00f6r att passa till denna dans.
